What do you know about
XYZ company?
Answer: If
there is bad news, we name names -- but only when we have hard copy evidence to
back up the information. For examples, see
Viatical Settlements: An Investor's
Guide, and the web page, Companies
on the Hot Seat.
As for other companies, we cannot endorse or recommend
companies although they may appear to have a history of legitimate activities. There are several
reasons for this:
 | We have no control or influence over the companies.
|
 | One that
may have a good reputation today could be sold tomorrow.
 | It may operate under the original name and
licenses, but under entirely new management it may be an entirely new game.
|
|
A
clear example of a company sold but the name and licenses retained is Viatical Benefactors.
This company was sold almost before the ink was dry on "Investor's Guide." That is why the
guidelines in the book must be applied to any company you are considering,
including those that appeared to meet the criteria when we went to press.
If you seek information about a specific company beyond
what is published in the books and on the web site, you are welcome to apply for
fee-based consultation.
