Reports on LifeTime Capital Inc.LifeTime Capital Inc., originally domiciled in Ohio, relocated to Florida and set up a "brother" company, Natlis Capital LLC. (Natlis later relocated to Texas, the scam haven of the U.S.) These and other related companies were headed by David W. Svete, assisted by Ron Girardot. Other long time officers and associates were Charme Austin, Douglas A. Kordel, Roger W. Lange, and Kathleen LaFrance. Associated companies, in addition to Natlis Capital, inlude BlueCrest Group of Boca Raton, Florida; Dove Creative Communications, Wealth Strategies. The federal investigation revealed that approximately 4,000 investors throughout the U.S. lost their investments. The amount collected from investors, most of whom are elderly, is estimated to be at least $100 million. On June 24, 2005 Svete was sentenced to 16 years and 8 months in federal prison, followed by three years supervised probation. He was ordered to surrender $21 million laundered through the scheme. Girardot was sentenced to five years and three years supervised probation. Charme Austin previously pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 15 months n prison and three years supervised probation. The jury acquitted Kordel, Lange, and LaFrance.
